Michelle Karman is the pen name of writer currently residing, quite miserably in fact, in the Triad region of NC. She is the self-published author of six novels, available at www.lulu.com/NCWriter. 'Heart of Darkness' is her second screenplay; the first, a drama about modern racism, will be worked on sometime next year. Ms. Karman is working on her third script, a horror based upon her series of vampire novels, for 2007 production (hopefully).
For fun, Ms. Karman likes to work out (yes, for fun), read, write, listen to music (she enjoys most forms of rock, music from the 50s to the 90s, classic R&B, some rap, and particularly is enthusiastic about gothic/industrial), and watching movies. Most of these are thriller/suspense and horror, of course. She collects statehood quarters and is missing one for 2006, alas. She prefers classic cars over modern autos, which she feels are lacking in visual taste, even though they may otherwise be pleasure drives.
Ms. Karman has been to Europe several times and hopes to return in the fall of 2007. Her favorite cities are Paris, Amsterdam (not for the coffeehouses), Vienna, Heidelberg, Nice, and Venice. Her favorite countries are Germany, Holland, Austria, and Switzerland. Her favorite regions are the Alpine areas incl. Bavaria and the Tyrol, and the Riviera (both French and Italian). She hopes to live in Paris part of the year, when she makes it big as a producer and writer of films.
In addition to returning to Europe, Ms. Karman would love to travel to Kenya, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, the Caribbean, and Tahiti.
